I post this from York railway station, after visiting Railfest 2012 at the National Railway Museum.
Not only did I get to see the cabs of 41001 and 43159 but I also seen into the cabs and on the footplates of various other locomotives. I also got a few photographs (no cab or footplate photos though).
My train home is due in 35-40 minutes so I will deliver a full Railfest post as soon as I can
